Students learn collaboration, communication and critical thinking skills at Indian Peaks. They were able to apply their skills in two activities. The first ctivity was building with a something giant legos in a team. They brainstormed what to build and how to start. Next, students gathered some giant legos and they began to create. During the building stage a varierty of structures were designed- a bed, a castle a chair and a giant triangle.
The second acticity students were involved in was creating a maze to drive sphero through. Students gathered in teams again and ideated their maze. As a team, they built a maze for partners to drive through. Students then worked together to learn how to drive the sphero through the maze they designed. Students were learning how to navigate a new tool and how to communicate directions. Between these activites, students applied their skills and became master builders and designers.
