High-Quality Preschool

Preschool is designed to be an integral part of the educational process at Indian Peaks Elementary School and the St. Vrain Valley School District. Indian Peaks Elementary School provides an excellent preschool facility and atmosphere for a high quality learning experience for your child. The preschool functions under the direction of the Preschool Director and the St. Vrain Valley Community Schools. Financially, the program operates on a self-supporting basis.

The three enrollment options available are listed below:

Tuition-based preschool – Available full-day, Monday through Friday. Families complete a tuition-based preschool application, and current rates are listed on the district’s preschool website.

Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado – State-funded preschool for eligible 4-year-olds. Children must be 4 years old on or before Oct. 1. UPK provides up to 15 hours of free preschool each week. Families complete a UPK application to find out if they qualify.

Special Education preschool – For children ages 3 to 5 who qualify for special education services. Our Child Find team works closely with families to determine eligibility and create a plan that meets each child’s needs.
